Sundays - 10:00 a.m.
K.I.D.S. (Kids in Divine Service) Church
Sunday worship means K.I.D.S Church. We have classes for ages 2-3 year olds,
4-5 year olds and 6-12 year olds.
Worship time includes puppets, object lessons, memory verses, Bible stories,
crafts, games and singing which makes learning about Jesus FUN and EXCITING!
Wednesdays - 7:00 p.m.
Classes begin with age 2 and continue through 12 year olds. Classrooms are
designed to make the Word of God available to children at their own age level.
Activities
Throughout the year we plan fellowship activities with children. We may
go bowling, see a movie, make a craft, have a game day... We get together
for FUN and FELLOWSHIP!
Our goal as we work in the Children's Ministry at Lighthouse Fellowship is to proclaim Truth , Nurture the relationship our children have with Jesus Christ and to Train them to follow His teachings in their daily lives.
 Truth - It is imperative that our teaching be based on biblical truths. The word of God says the truth shall set you free and it is therefore reasonable to conclude the truth shall keep you free. In addition to teaching truth, we must instill in our children the fact that there is such a thing as absolute truth. There is a massive attack in our society on truth. We must equip our children with knowledge that will protect them from this snare of the enemy.
Nurture - We must do all we can to nurture the relationship our children have with Christ. It is important for our children to not only know about God but that they know God personally. If our children are to live successfully in this world of sin, they must have a strong relationship with the Lord to lean upon.
Train - More than just sharing facts, we need to show our children how to walk with the Lord. Most of this will be done by the example we set before them. We cannot shy away from the hard questions and situations our children face. It is much easier to make the right decisions during the week, when they have been addressed and practiced in a safe setting. Disciples do not make themselves. We must work with our children to help them live out the Christian life.
As we accompany the fire of the Holy Spirit with truth, nurturing, and training (T.N.T.), the result will be an explosion that will destroy Satan's strongholds in the lives of those children.
