VISION STATEMENT
To exalt the Lord, equip believers evangelize the lost.
We will provide an environment for exuberant praise and worship,
and the enduement with power for ministry to believers,
as we extend a loving hand to the lost and hurting.
“Write down the revelation (vision) and make it plain on tablets so that
a herald may run with it. For the
revelation (vision) awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not
prove false. Though it linger,
wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:2,3
Our vision is a result of our worship unto the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. The
Lord has given us the
following verses to serve as the scriptural foundation of our vision from the
Lord.
SCRIPTURAL PROMISE: “Arise, shine, for your light
has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen
upon thee.” Isaiah 60:1.
PRACTICAL EXPRESSION: The Lord Himself is our light and we are determined to
let Him shine
His love and grace through us. We believe God wants to manifest His glory in
the earth, in His
people and we desire to be some of those vessels fit for honorable use.
SCRIPTURAL PROMISE: “No longer will violence be heard
in your land... but you will call your
walls Salvation and your gates Praise.” Isaiah 60:18.
PRACTICAL EXRESSION: We believe God has destined us to be an evangelistic,
soul-winning
force in these last days. Violence and destruction intended for the lives of
many will be averted by
God’s hand upon our ministry. Praise and worship unto the Lord will open
the gates of His salvation
for many.
SCRIPTURAL PROMISE: “The least of you will become
a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I
am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.” Isaiah 60:22
PRACTICAL EXPRESSION: Through His Spirit and His Word God has given us a vision
of open-ended growth for His glory. God’s anointing and the Sovereign moving
of His Spirit will accomplish
this through us as we continue to be a sensitive and responsive group of believers.
SCRIPTURAL PROMISE: “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord
is on me because God has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has
sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives...and
recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year
of
the Lord’s favor.” Isaiah 61:1/Luke4:18,19
PRACTICAL EXPRESSION: The church is to continue the ministry of Christ and to
become the
living expression of Jesus in our time and culture. We are to be the living manifestation
of God’s
Word and work extended to today’s world. By the Spirit’s anointing
we are to continue to “destroy
the devil’s work” (I John 3:8) until Jesus comes again.
